Unturned: Building a Home

A very time and material consuming build
In my last post I was talking about the vehicles in Unturned. Now I will tell you  about all the building and constructing that you can use to survive in the wild.

Building a house can be very hard and requires you to get scavenging for a few things.
What you will need:

  • Axe/Fire axe/Chainsaw (to chop the trees)
  • Pickaxe (if using stone)
  • Handsaw (so that you can also use logs for      planks)
  • Vehicle (to get to and from trees faster)
Once you have everything listed above you must find yourself a good location to build your home. Their are many recommended places to build your house like near farms or towns as farms give loot good for food and hunting and towns are a good supply of everyday needs. If you wanted to you could find a pre-built structure, fortify it and live there. Watch out though, near pre built structures are zombie homes.

A few things you could do after building a house is to get a bedroll, so that you can respawn there, put up torches for lighting, make a camp fire to cook any food you come across and make some crates to store you loot. When you are making crates, be careful about what type of wood you use, birch crates have a capacity of 24, maple's capacity is 28 and pine has 32 spaces.

That's all for now, I'll see you all later.

First Ascension! BEST Starter Ancients!

Hey everyone! I'm back today to give an update on my browser account (as well as good starter ancients) and an update to how close I am to getting the official AGG clan started.

First off, I ascended for the first time today and have progressed at a much faster rate then that of my first ascension (obviously). I'm currently up to stage 67 and am progressing smoothly. I ascended for 9 souls and put them all into ancients as the DPS increase is useful but not so much in such small numbers.

The first ancients I bought are Vaagar, Libertas and Dora. Three very useful ancients in their own ways and all useful enough to buy in the early game. Vaagar decreases cool down time of abilities up to a max of -75% (ie. 10min - 2min 30sec) which is incredibly useful early on as abilities are a big part of the game when killing bosses and breaking walls. Libertas is an all around amazing ancient giving extra gold from monsters whilst idle (no clicks for a minute). Finally, Dora gives you a higher chance of getting treasure chests to spawn which is again, useful even in the early game.

Lastly is the ancients that I would recommend getting first. There is a list that can be found here which is quite widely agreed on as an accurate guide. Personally however, I have my own recommendations that go something like this. Remember, this list is for the early game!

1. Siyalatas (DPS increase whilst idle)
2. Libertas (Gold increase whilst idle)
3. Kumawakamaru (Less monsters per stage)
4. Vaagar (Less ability cool down)
5. Atman (Higher chance of primal boss spawn)
6. Solomon (More souls from primal bosses)
7. Mammon (More gold dropped)
8. Dora (Higher treasure chest spawn chance)
9. Mimzee (More gold from treasure chests)
10. Dogcog/Fortuna (Lower cost for hiring & upgrading heroes/Chance of x10 gold)

These ancients, If you see them early on, I would consider getting. The higher ranked ones are generally better in the early stages and then going down the list, the ancients become more effective slightly later into the game. All of these ancients are excellent choices and you should definitely consider buying them if they're an option. IF THERE ARE NONE OF THESE ANCIENTS AS AN OPTION! Reroll. It's not worth getting anything else and the reroll cost is small so just do it.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed/learned something!

Until next time!

Unturned: Intro and Vehicles

I recently found a game that I haven't played for a while and I don't understand why I stopped. It is a game similar to any zombie survival game, but you are more free than in most games. Not only can you search villages and find tools, you can also chop down trees or smash rocks for materials. Using these materials and more you can build a house. An example of a house that is time consuming to build is shown on the left.

You can also find different vehicles and drive them around. Some of these vehicles are only found in certain maps or locations but others can be found almost anywhere. One of the map specific vehicles is a snowmobile which is found in the Yukon map. However these vehicles do need to be refuelled sometimes and to do this you will need a fuel can. I your vehicle does run out of fuel and you do not have any fuel on you then you will have to walk to the nearest town and get some, unfortunately you cannot push your car along. When getting a vehicle to stick with it is best to get the one that has the most protection(if on multi-player) and takes the most fuel. Some people might think that only using 1 or 2 fuel tanks to fill a car is good but it actually means that the car has a small maximum fuel amount.

I believe that unturned is a simple and free game that I would recommend to anyone that likes this sort of game.

That's all for now, I'll see you all later.

Talos Principle: All Stars

In this video I will show you how to obtain all the stars in the Talos Principle Demo. Collecting all of these stars will unlock a bonus secret level. I will be doing another video soon to show you how to complete the secret level as well.

Star No. 1: This star is found underneath the bridge that you first spawn on. It is under the very middle of the bridge. Don't worry, even though you are a robot you can swim.

Star No. 2: Behind the gigantic castle is where you will find this star. Going around the left side of the castle is easier for me as the rocks have a path straight through them.

Star No. 3: Once you have completed the first puzzle turning around to run around the battlements will be how to earn star number 3.

Star No. 4: To get the fourth star you must use the hexahedron from the medium puzzle to climb a wall and go over it. There is a secret area in the medium puzzle that will hide this star.

Star No. 5: This star is also in the medium puzzle but this one is a bit different. To get it you must use the two connectors from the medium puzzle and one hidden outside to gain access to a last star.

Star No. 6: The last star is hidden in the fourth puzzle. I collected it on my play through of that level and it is probably the easiest to find as it is in plain view once you complete the hard puzzle.

That's all for now, I'll see you all later.

Goodgame Empire! Basic Attack Layout & Tools!

Hey everyone, I'm back today talking to you about a game that I used to play a LOT called Goodgame Empire. This game is unlike anything I've really seen on the internet and is definitely one of a kind.

Goodgame Empire is, as I said, one of a kind so I'm not completely sure as to what genre it is but it is similar to Clash of Clans and is a strategy base building game. The basic base layout is similar to Clash of Clans but there is much more to it then that.

First off, attacking. Attacks are much different to other strategy games as you can do many things to learn of your opponent's defence before you attack them so that you aren't blazing in wildly without any proper knowledge. You can send espionages to enemy castles to find out what troops they have defending and which defensive tools they have at their disposal. You then place your troops to attack either the gate or flanks and set off to battle.

Your troops will take a period of time to get to the target and the enemy can see the attack coming so it's always a risk as their alliance members can send defensive troops to help their members and perhaps get a defensive win from you.

You can also add to your attack and defence by creating siege or defence tools. They give you a bonus when attack or defending the gate or flanks. They can be crucial to winning battles a lot of the time so it is often a good idea to take some into each and every battle for that extra bit of help.

Thanks so much for reading everyone and I hope you enjoyed!

Until next time!
