The Talos Principle: Fourth Puzzle

I have been doing videos that show you how to complete the puzzles of the Talos Principle. I have already done three puzzles and this is the fourth, unfortunately though, this is also the last. The reason for this is because I only have the trial of the game and so I cannot do any further puzzles. I hope that last one will help you out a lot and that you have enjoyed the first level.

In this puzzle you must complete a mini-puzzle to get in. Then once you have gotten the fan, hexahedron and the connector, lift the connector up on the hexahedron above the walls so that you can power the final gate and get through to the end.

That's all for now, I'll see you all later.

Clicker Heroes - Regilding - Phthalo (& Update!)

Hey everyone! I'm back today with another Clicker Heroes post. Today I'm going to be talking about regilding into Phthalo and a quick update on my steam and browser accounts.

So, I've been grinding out ascensions and upgrading my ancients. Collecting up gilds and slowly progressing further into the levels. During this time I've reached a few big milestones and today I'm going to share them with you.

First of all, I've reached a new highest zone ever of 1664! This means I've added one more achievement to my collection for both steam and the actual game, and that I've now got only 13 total achievements left to get in the game, most of them being stage related.

Next up is just a quick little update which is where we're at in my steam account clan. We are currently up to immortal level 24 which we've been stuck on for a little while. The good news is that we're getting very close sometimes so we should be able to take it down without too much more grinding.

Finally is an update on my gilding. I have gathered up a total of 187 gilds across all of my heroes and very recently regilded into Phthalo. Since the way I save up for Phthalo is to level up (starting at Dread Knight) all the ranger heroes to level 400 then move onto the next one. This means Dread to 400 then Atlas, Terra then finally I put the rest of my money into Phthalo before ascending as I slow.

This new strategy works wonderfully for me and I'm hopefully going to be getting into much higher levels after this regild.

Thanks a bunch for reading and I hope you enjoyed! Also, I will be creating the clan with my browser account shortly (just need more rubies) so please be on the lookout for that, remember, there are no level requirements but you must comment on the post with your ign and highest zone ever (hze).

Until next time!

Clash of Clans: The Archer Queen Ability - I Can't Wait!

When I first got my Barbarian King, I thought it was great.  He was a real tank and did solid damage, even if he did tend to wander from time to time.  Then I got my Archer Queen - Wow.

Now that I have been using her for a while, it is clear that her strength is her damage and her distance.  With a Healer on her shoulder, she can take out Air Defence before they can reach the healer.  It is great!

I have been playing a "Hero and Healer" strategy, with each Hero supported by two Healers.  They stay alive a long time and, supported with the right ground troops and a Jump spell and they are a LOT of fun.

In fact, the "Hero and Healer" strategy, when used entirely on the Archer Queen can be incredibly powerful, even right up to TH10.  Don't get scared now!  Some people will use as many as 10 Healers on their Queen just to keep her alive, she is such a powerful unit when in play.

...just don't forget, she only targets the 'nearest' building, so some archers or minions to take out the distractions (extra support buildings) can be an excellent support for her.

Then, when I get attacked and see the Archer Queen ability summoned, I can't wait to get mine to that level.  It looks great and is super effective.

Still, for now I have been working hard and I have her up to Level 4.  It won't be long now.  I'll let you know what I think once I have given her what she needs to get stronger, sneakier and more powerful.

It's gonna be great!

Game hard.

The Talos Principle: Third Puzzle

Any of you that have seen my previous two posts would know about the game The Talos Principle. I have been making video tutorials to help out anyone that could not solve the puzzle themselves. In this video I will show you how to complete the third puzzle of the game. The last puzzle for the first stage will come later on so please be patient.

A Mini-Puzzle
In the third puzzle of the game you must work your way around may different gates and find holes in walls to use with the connector. You must place the connector in precise places in order to complete this puzzle. There is also a mini-game within this puzzle.in which you must place the blocks in the correct places in order to open a gate. There is another game on steam that is based on this and it is called Sigils of Elohim

That's all for now, I'll see you all later.

The Talos Principle: Second Puzzle

A picture of the second puzzle
If you have seen my previous post you should know about a game called, The Talos Principle. The Talos Principle is a puzzle game and so I have decided to help out anyone that cannot figure out one of the puzzles by making video tutorials on how to complete the first few puzzle.

In this puzzle you must use a hexahedron to raise a connector above the beams of the already placed connector. If you don't use the hexahedron then both of the connector's beams will collide and cancel each other out.

That's all for now, I'll see you all later.

The Talos Principle: First Puzzle

I found a puzzle game called The Talos Principle that I enjoyed quite a lot.

I don't have the full version yet but I hope to get it soon. If any of you are have trouble with the first few puzzles then your in luck, because I will be making walk through videos that will show you how to do the first few levels. I have the tutorial for the first level below and I will be making more later.

In this level you have to use the jammers to open the gates. You open the gate with one jammer, then place the other jammer on the other side to hold it open. You are then able to take the first jammer and repeat this as many times as you need to.

That's all for now, I'll see you all later.

Adventure Capitalist!

Hey everyone! I'm back today talking to you about another game I've been getting into recently which falls into the same, Idle Game, genre as Clicker Heroes.

This game, however, doesn't have you battling your way through bosses and monsters and collecting gold in which to do that faster. Instead, your goal is to invest into different things such as a lemonade stand, car wash, pizza delivery, and more! These investments take time to generate cash and generate more cash depending on the time they take.

For example, the lemonade stand takes a very short amount of time to complete but gives less cash the the pizza delivery which gives more cash. You can also upgrade these investments which make them give more cash when you collect from them and can also increase their speed depending on what levels you get them to! eg. Level: 25, 50, 100.

You can also buy lots of different managers who run your investment businesses after you hire them. This means that as soon as an investment business finishes and gives you cash, it instantly starts again meaning you can get cash from faster investments while you're away.

The last part of the game I'm going to mention is Angel Investors. Angel Investors are basically Clicker Heroes' Hero Souls. Angel Investors are drawn to you if you earn enough money. Each one gives you a permanent 2% bonus but here's the catch. Like Clicker Heroes, you must restart to get these investors, but again, like Clicker Heroes. It is very worth it!

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed! I will also be bringing out that Clicker Heroes clan post when I can so be ready for that!

Until next time!

Clicker Heroes: Update!

Hey everyone! I'm back today to give you a quick update on my progress, ancients, gilds and stages that I'm up to in Clicker Heroes. I'll also talk a little bit about clans and how you could be able to join one shortly.

First of all, I have broken that stage 1500 milestone by a fair way and am actually nearing 1600 whilst on a deep run. My HZE (Highest Zone Ever) is currently 1574 and is the second highest of my clan. Although I have reached this stage I normally ascend at around levels 1400-1450 as I start slowing down after this point.

Next is my gilds which are actually looking quite different! I have abandoned Samurai and now only have gilds into the Power Ranger characters (just a nickname!) which is pretty much Dread Knight and everyone after him. I have 10 gilds into both Dread and Atlas then the rest are still into Terra, a total 155.

Next up are my ancients. As this is near impossible to get a single picture of, here is a little collection of pictures showing all the ancients I have and their levels...

Sorry about the pictures looking a bit out of whack!

Last but not least, I have started a new account as of writing this post and once able to, I will create a Clan for all of you to join! (if you want to, that is) I will bring out a post as soon as I create this Clan and will ask you to comment on that post with your Clicker Heroes Nickname, and I will accept ONLY those people who comment on the post so as to let only readers join.

Due to the fact that this is a new account of mine that I've created, there will be absolutely no level requirement, as long as you can use clans, you can join! Note: I believe you have to have ascended once to be able to join clans.

Thanks a bunch for reading and I hope you enjoyed! Remember to look out for when the clan is made!

Until next time!

Clash of Clans: The Archer Queen

Well, I have kept it up.  I have maintained a very high presence in Clash of Clans and have powered through to Town Hall 9.  It is an interesting game at many levels and as I get higher, it is clear that the finer elements of the game become more important...but more about that in another post.
.

Town Hall 9 is a significant achievement for a number of reasons, not least of which is the change in appearance of the Town Hall. Up to this level, the Town Halls have always had a similar look, however the look for level 9 is unlike any other.  The strange thing is, they only have this design for Town Hall 9.  Town Hall 10 is very different again, so it is an interesting design choice.

But the other main achievement is the introduction of the second Hero - the Archer Queen.

She might not have the burly strength of the Barbarian King, but she packs a mean punch.

Just like the other Hero, at Level 5 she gives me a special attack. She turns invisible and summons some fellow archers to distract the defences.  I have seen this used against me, and combined with her range and increased damage during this ability, it is pretty powerful.

Actually, a point on her range...she can take out targets from a long way away.  This is particularly useful when you pair her with two Healers. She is able to take out the air defence from a such a distance that the Healers don't get hit at all.  Very, very useful.

When I first wrote about the Barbarian King, I was concerned with getting 12,500 Dark Elixir...well, the Archer Queen starts at 22,500!  Anyone farming for Dark Elixir will realise this is no mean feat.  That said, with two Heroes fighting for you, it does come a lot quicker than it used to.

Anyway, that is it for now...time to work on Level 2!

Game hard.

Clash of Clans: Barbarian King Ability - Finally!

A little while ago I posted that I had earned my Barbarian King, and I was lamenting how hard it would be to get the Dark Elixir required to upgrade him.  I thought it would be a real struggle, and do you know what?  IT WAS!!!

Going through it is much more traumatic than looking back at it, where it didn't seem that hard at all.  Still, it is interesting how that relative perspective does change.

Each level required more and more Dark Elixir, but it was never truly out of reach, it just seemed that way sometimes...until, keeping the game alive manually ('cause I hate cheating), I got what I needed and the final upgrade to Level 5 was underway.

I was excited when I realised it wasn't long before he was awake again.  I had to take him through his paces in a real fight - and he didn't disappoint.  I had barbarians in my Clan Castle and let them loose to follow the big guy into the heat of battle.  A few hits to the Health Bar and BOOM!  Ability.  Rage.  Barbarian Rage.

It was awesome.  He wrecked.  It was worth it.

I don't know what that Dark Elixir does to him, but he certainly seems to enjoy it, and I enjoy the impact when it comes to a street fight.

So what next?

I know.  My Valkyries.  I know, I know...lots of people hate them 'cause they cost too much Dark Elixir. Still, for me, they have nearly 1000 Hit Points, they are fast, and they do excellent damage (and they look good doing it!).  They even position themselves to damage two buildings at once...and there isn't much better you can have in your Clan Castle.

Yeah, they are expensive, but they are a great asset to my attacking force.

Game hard.

Spore - Creature Creation

Tired of your planet? Build a new one as you embark on the most amazing journey ever. Use fun and easy to use creation tools as you evolve your unique creature, establish tribes, build civilizations, sculpt worlds and explore the cosmos! Along the way you can choose to be nice or play it rough, with  lasting consequences for your game. Visit the Spore website to check out all the other cool creations your friends and people from around the world are making, and the pull them into your world and play with them! What you create is entirely up to you, the only limit is your imagination!

These are just a few examples of  the
creatures that could be made in spore.

Although many that have heard of Spore think that all you can create is creatures, which is still awesome, that is not all there is too it. Throughout Spore you get the opportunity to design houses, cars, boats and even space crafts. There is such a huge variety of things to do in Spore that you could play all day evolving you cell to eventually become a space fairing creature.

But do not think that once you have reached space you are done with Spore, in space your creature and his species are always discovering new things in the universe, like the mysterious Grox or new ways to sculpt planets and make them more habitable. I have played Spore for a while and spent more than half of the game in space because it is so fun.

Stranded Deep

I just got a new game called Stranded Deep and it is insanely fun. The game starts off in a private jet where you learn basic crafting and how to move. Then suddenly the jet crashes and you are the only survivor. You get into a life raft that happens to be in front of an engine when the engine explodes, and you are pushed towards an island. You then paddle to the island and begin your first day surviving in Stranded Deep.
In Stranded Deep you must fight for your life. You must find food and water to live by using your water bottle, a bucket or even simple coconuts. There are also many different foods from crabs to coconuts to sharks and even various different fish, but getting these necessities can prove to be harder than you think. with various sharks and marlin patrolling the water hoping to get a taste of fresh blood.

To help you survive in Stranded Deep there are many crashed shipwrecks with various loot inside of them. You can find anything from parts for a boat motor an axe or a hammer. There is also loot that helps you with primary goals such as a bucket of water that can be boiled for fresh water then refilled and boiled again for infinite water.

I have enjoyed this game very much and I hope that you do to. I will also be doing a series of posts to help with different parts of the game and I may even start a game play series of it.

Solforge: Basics of Battle

Hey everyone! I'm back today with another Solforge post! Today's post is going to hopefully (if you haven't played it yourself) teach you a thing or two about the basics of Solforge combat. Be ready for a fair bit of reading!
Solforge Battle Layout
The picture above is a layout of what a Solforge Battle looks like. From this example you can see that I am playing against Computer Easy (found top right) and that the computer has placed a Cinderfist Brawler in the 3rd (middle) lane. Now, let's take a quick look at the rest of the miscellaneous parts of the layout before going into the cards themselves.

In the top right corner it contains information about you're opponent and the bottom right, about you. We'll just look at the top (as the bottom is the same). So the name of my enemy is 'Computer Easy' and they currently have 100 health remaining (number inside blood drop). They are also only on level 1 (number in the green glow) and are a quarter of the way to level 2 (the amount of ring glowing). The other 2 values are fairly irrelevant and just talk about how many cards you have/have discarded.
Cinderfist Brawler
Attack - 7  Health - 3

Now onto the cards themselves. There are 2 types of cards, monster and spell cards. Monster cards are cards that have attack and health and will, once you hit battle, fight the monster across from them. They deal (for e.g.) 7 damage to the enemy creatures health and lose health equal to the enemies attack. Some creatures also have special effects when placed or when the kill something, anything like this will be just under the card after you double click on it.

The second type of card is a spell card. Spell cards have all sorts of different effects and bonuses such as healing your own health, increasing your monsters health/attack, decreasing opponents health, decreasing opponents monsters health and more. There are no two spell cards the same but you know what they are if they don't have attack and health. Just read what the card says it does and try to use it the best that you can.

Anyway, that's all from me folks. I hope you enjoyed this longer and more different post and let me know if you want more in depth guides to certain games and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks,
- Deefooty
