Subnautica: Socializing Extreme

Subnautica is a sandbox game based on the idea that you were part of a terraforming mission to make a planet habitable. However your ship was hit by a mysterious energy beam that caused it to crash in the middle of an ocean. One escape pod was able to survive the crash, you were in that escape pod.

In this game you can make some wonderful things, like huge underwater sea bases or two different types of submarines. Exploring the deep can be scary or beautiful but whatever amazing land forms you find, they will always be down deep, so those submarines come in very handy! Within this underwater world there are a number of different biomes and each biome has creatures specific to it, for example the safe shallows has a fast little fish called a peeper that will always swim away when you get close to it.
Size comparison with the Seamoth (The seamoth is the smaller
of the two submarines and only has room for the driver)

One of the submarines, the Cyclops, has a horn that sounds very similar to an alien creatures call, the reefback. If you use the horn while nearby a reefback it will call back to you, thinking you are trying to communicate. This can make for a very entertaining time if you have enough reefbacks around you when you use the horn. I hope that you enjoy all the sights of Subnautica and try it out for yourself

That's it for now, see you next time!

TF2 & Spiral Knights: Spiral Sallet

The Spiral Sallet is a hat that you can obtain in Team Fortress 2 via an achievement.  While most achievement items in TF2 have you do something in TF2, but the Spiral Sallet is different.  You have to download the game Spiral Knights, once you open it you will have 2 messages from the creators of Spiral Knights, and one from Saxton Hale.

After playing the game for a while you will be able to access the arcade.  One arcade mission is 2-3 maps, once you have finished them all, you will reach a clockwork's terminal and earn the achievement which will also give you the hat next time you log into TF2.

This is a preview of the message you will receive when you open the alert. à

Clash of Clans: The Barbarian King

You know, I don't have a lot of time for gaming, but Blaze convinced me to start playing Clash of Clans.  I knew it would be a problem as it is the kind of game I enjoy.
Well, now it is a couple of months in and I have finally got him. My Barbarian King is alive!  You need a Level 7 Town Hall, a Dark Elixir Drill and Dark Elixir Storage.  You then need 10,000 Dark Elixir.  Once you have them all, you can build your Barbarian King's stone.

Doesn't he look good?

Apparently he is heavily dosed up on Dark Elixir, but it hasn't hurt his swordplay! He really does make a huge difference in attacks, although I haven't seen him in defence yet.

Something I didn't know - at Level 5 he gives me a special attack. Something about releasing Skeletons to help him in his battle, so that will be worth seeing!  Trouble is, at 12,500 Dark Elixir for the first upgrade to Level 2, I can see this might take a while!

When attacking people, it is good to check out what is on offer.  It if isn't at least 100K+ for both Elixir and Gold, I don't bother and now I have a new measure to check - how much Dark Elixir can I steal? It is good to see that some people have more than 1,000 Dark Elixir available, but I am not yet strong enough to seriously gain that kind of advantage.  Still, getting 200-300 per attack is pretty helpful.  I'm sure this will get easier with time.

Anyway, that is it for now...I'll let you know when I get that upgrade!

Game hard, and don't forget to live the real world too.

Cookie Clicker - Most Pointless Game Ever?

I think that I have found the absolute most pointless game in existence, Cookie Clicker. The aim of this game is to click on a giant cookie and earn cookies for doing it.

With the cookies that you earn you can buy upgrades for your clicks, so that you get more cookies per click. You can also buy auto clickers. Auto clicks are self explanatory, they automatically click the cookie, so you don't have to! There are many different types of auto clicks, from just a basic auto click to the atomic clicker. Each type of auto clicker has varying:

- Costs
- Amount of cookies per click
- Speeds

I'm not sure why someone would play this game but hundreds of thousands do. Apparently it is very addictive.
